✞ CHARACTER CANON: UNDERWORLD CANONPOINT: prior to drinking Alexander Corvinus' blood in Evolution AGE: 600+ SPECIES: second generation vampire PERSONALITY: cold, stoic, serious, detached, "not good with feelings", not one to laugh, hardly smiles, does not take kindly to fools or the arrogant, headstrong, stubborn, independent, yet despite all that, there is care and concern for those she comes to see as family or even friends. ✞ ABILITIES VAMPIRE: Selene possesses superhuman abilities such as strength, speed, durability, agility, reflexes, endurance, as well as accelerated healing. She is also in possession of heightened senses such as sense of smell, night vision, depth perception, and hearing. DEATH DEALER: As a Death Dealer, Selene is highly skilled in combat as a warrior knowing how to use various firearms and is exceptionally strong and skilled in hand-to-hand combat. VAMPIRE BITE: The ability to turn a human into a vampire through bite. PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Aside from the typical pale skin and low body temperature, Selene is able to "transform" either by that of her own will or brought on by intense emotions such as anger, upset, or a threat of danger. This transformation in appearance is mostly a change in eye colour from brown to an electric sort of blue and canines/fangs becoming elongated. IMMORTALITY: The inability to die by natural causes let alone to no longer age in appearance. Selene is believed to be well over 600 years old. ✞ WEAKNESSES ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION: Sunlight. Direct exposure to the sun and its rays has the ability to not only burn them but incinerate their flesh to the point of catching fire and falling away to ash or left behind as a charred corpse. On the other hand, indirect exposure to sunlight, such as looking at it, can hurt their eyes but is not enough to burn them as direct sunlight would. DON'T BOTHER: Aside from sunlight, Selene is not affected by other means of traditional vampire weaknesses such as crosses, holy water, crucifixes, stake through the heart, etc. SEVERE PHYSICAL TRAUMA: While incredibly resilient and possessing immortality, severe physical trauma can seriously harm and even kill a vampire. Things such as amputation, dismemberment, decapitation, mutilation, and severe blood loss can and have killed vampires in the past. NEED TO FEED: While dying of starvation is not a threat to vampires, the longer they go without drinking blood, the weaker they become to the point of becoming dried out husks. Also to note, typically human blood is preferred but vampires have been known to drink the blood of animals or even other vampires. NIGHTSHADE: Highly poisonous to vampires and should any be ingested or were to end up in their bloodstream, the consequences can be both crippling and fatal. ✞ IC PERMISSIONS PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Depending who you are to her, you may be rebuffed rather coldly as Selene is not a very affectionate sort of person. FLIRTING: As with physical affection, rebuffs are quite possible if she doesn't take kindly to you. However, with the right person, it's certainly possible. VIOLENCE & FIGHTING: Yes to both. Though please know that Selene is rather strong for a vampire and has her own abilities that are to be taken into account when fighting and possibly injuring her. Being a Death Dealer, she is not an easy target to take down. DEATH: Possibly.
